Robert's clothes are always cut in the latest fashions, his youngest brother and sister see to that. But they aren't usually able to get him out of his usual black and white ensemble. Which is quite an affront to the youngest Knight male seeing as how he is a close personal friend of Beau Brummel.
Appearence:(Put an image of your character.)
Robert is a tall man, standing at six feet tall and has a well toned athletic body from growing up as the sole disciplinarian of four other brothers as well as a younger sister. He isn't very tan seeing as how his political career takes up a bunch of time. His hair is on the longer side but is still cut close to his head. He has blue eyes with little flecks of green in them which is probably his most attractive feature. He has fine high cheekbones that give off an air of nobility. Robert doesn't often smile and is usually seen with an expression of subtle amusement which serves him well in the political arena.
Personality:
Robert Knight is a man who commands the respect of all who know him. But in fact not many people know him at all. Among society he is not known to stray from his party, nor does he make any attempt to be introduced to new comers. No if one wishes to meet Robert they must seek him out. He is rather terse and cold untill someone wins his trust over. But once someone breaks through that barrier one meets a warm caring man who is fiercly loyal to the people that he loves. Among his family and very close friends Robert is someone who gives unconditional love and support and has nothing but his family's best interests at heart. Indeed an example of that would be the annual snowball fight between the Five Knight Brothers at Knight House each year. The five brothers have had that among many other traditions since they were young boys.
History:
Robert was born the first son of Georgianna and Alexander Knight on their country estate, Hawkscliffe Hall. For the first three years the family was ecstatic untill Georgianna started to grow restless, her husband paid no attention to her and she was often left alone. She ended up having an affair with Gentleman John Mulcahey, and got pregnant with his child. When John was born, Robert's father claimed him as his own but everyone knew he wasn't a real Knight.
That didn't matter to Robert, John, or Jack as was his nickname was his brother and they were very close. By the time Robert was seven and Jack was two Georgianna was pregnant again with the Marquess of Carnathan' s child. But low and behold they ended up being twins. As Robert got older and more children started popping out that weren't of true blood his father started to draw him away from his mother. His favorite phrase was " Your mother can have her bastards, I've got my heir."
Robert was taught to be perfect, his father couldn't accept anything but. Robert never ended up pleasing his father but he did try his best. He studied hard under the Knight family tutor Mr. Whitby and ended up finishing his education at Eton. When he was twenty his mother came down with a cough that got progressively worse and worse untill she could no longer make it up the stairs without gasping for breathe. She died four months later and his father ended up getting himself killed shortly after by drinking an entire bottle of Blue Ruin and tried to jump his horse over a jump he should never have been attempting.
By the time he was twenty-one he had inherited his title and had taken over responsibility for his family's finances and estates. He was entrusted to be his younger family member's guardian untill they came of age. As each one of them did he gifted them with one of the lesser country estates and a small fortune. They may not be of true blood like him but they are his family and blood couldn't make them closer.
